What I like..

I am all for counter service for lunch and I love Pinnochios in Fantasyland and Casey's on Main Street in the MK. WDW has the best hotdog's I have ever ate. This may sound simple to some, but I suppose I am a simple person.. ha ha

Babets welcome to Disney Central! I agree with you about MK's counter service. We love to sit and have a quiet lunch/dinner at Pinocchio's waving to the Small World boats as we go by. And, no trip is complete without a dog from Casey's!

I have not tried Casey's but love to eat at Pinnochio's. The SM boats make the atmosphere a little better than some of the other CS restraunts.

My favorite TS in WDW is Tusker House in AK. Pinnochios is a close second.

I have read rave reviews of the Figaro fries though I have never had them. Have you had them and if so, what did you think?

I happen to love Pecos Bills for Counter Service myself. I am not sure why but it has always been a favorite of mine!

2 Things:

1) We had breakfast at Tusker House in AK. We absolutely loved it! We are from the South so we enjoy big b-fasts. Tusker House really filled that little void!

2) While we were on the IASW this very cute little girl was standing at the window (in Pinnochio's) waving at every one. When I waved back she just seemed so happy! There is no moral to this story you guys/gals just mentioned Pinnochios and it made me think of that little girl!

I love stories like that. Isn't that what WDW is all about? I just love to watch the little kids. It makes the magic all the more special! Don't memories like that always make you smile?

I've read pros and cons about Tusker House, but always like to try a place for myself. Think I'll give it a go this trip. It was once featured on one of the Travel Channel's restaurant bits and that chicken looked good!

Not simple at all. My DD loves the counter service. She prefers them to restaurnats (excluding character meals and Whispersing Cannon) I leave all of my lunches free from PS's and let her chose her favorites. I don't mind them in the least but I would not be able to do it for every meal. BTW: I love Pinnochio's. That is one of our favorite counter service places in all of WDW. Not for the food, but becasue it's in the center of traffic and it's fun to people watch from the outside tables.:D
