Buttercream Frosting anyone!!!?
Sorry I took so looooong, but I have been fighting something sinus infection or whatever, had a horrific headache blah, blah blah....Whatever, here's the recipe!:D
Buttercream Frosting 1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup shortening (I use Crisco Butter flavored sticks) 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup lukewarm milk 1 teaspoon vanilla In mixing bowl cream margarine and Shortening. Beat in sugar and milk alternately Beat vigorously until granules cannot be felt between fingers (on high speed for about 10 min. Blend in vanilla this is not like a bakery buttercream but more like a whipped cream FYI, let margarine soften on it's own (do not microwave) then cream it with the shortening. if it softens too much it will turn out runny, it should be thick!! again let me know how it turns out!!! TTFN, Jacki:)

Jacki - re: butter cream frosting
Sorry to hear of your sinus infection. Sinus must be the disease of the month, I've been fighting the same kind of thing - blah, blah, blah. Can you use soft margarine (tub), or should you use the stick kind?
