Le Cellier

I hope that is spelled right. If not, sorry. I really want to check this restaurant out for lunch on my Epcot day. The cheese soup is calling "Dana...Dana come and get me". I have heard many mixed reviews. Recent one have been a little more encouraging then others. Will I be making a mistake by trying this out for lunch? If so, can you grab take-out soup? First hand experiences anyone? Thanks for the opinions all. My 90 days grows near and I want to get my final decisions made on PS's. Thanks.

You won't be making a mistake. I try to visit at least once each trip. The cheese soup and steaks are fantastic. The service can be a bit spotty and I've had some bad experiences that way, but the food has always been good.

Don't worry about it, I'm happy to help if you need it. While I love first class, coach isn't so bad. In fact, I'd gladly ride in the bathroom if it got me to WDW!

Okay, I know several of you will disagree with me, but I was so excited about trying Le Cellier on our trip in May!! Although I wasn't disappointed with service or atmosphere, I (nor hubby) cared for the cheese soup. I personally perfer Schwan's cheese soup to theirs. I really, really, really wanted to like it (REALLY!!), but it was just kind of weird tasting :dazed . I would, on the other hand, go back JUST for the beef and barley soup. It was delicious!! Hubby and I split a roast beef sandwich, which by the way was nothing to right home about either. It was quite bland. I would choose something else, next time.

This is now a must eat on our list. We hadn't heard anything about it but DH wanted a steak last year so we headed in to see how long the wait would be. Only 10 mins without a PS ~ we were sold. And then the food was fantastic! I don't recall having the cheese soup but will give it a try this year.

We've always had wonderful food and service here. When it's crowded it can be a little noisy - but what restaurant isn't at WDW. I don't really like thick soups, but I've had a few spoonfuls and it tasted great! But, like above, if you just want soup to go, try the Beaver Tail Stand, and then have a Beaver Tail for dessert.
They are extremely yummy.:)

All I want is the soup, so maybe I'll just try the Beaver place instead of a sit-down meal. Like the new title.
