I can't recommend Beaches & Cream anymore

Yesterday,my mother and I ate lunch at Beaches and Cream. I have to say that I can no longer recommend the hamburger anymore. We both ordered rare hamburgers and they weren't. They barely had any moisture to them at all. If it weren't for the fact that we were going to the Mega Mouse Meet at 1pm and were pressed for time,I would have sent the hamburger back. I stil would go for the ice cream sundaes because I think they are great, but no more hamburgers!!!:( :( :(

That is too bad! I have never eaten here but was going to try to make a point of it on our next visit. I really want to try the "Kitchen Sink". Is this the first time you have had a bad burger there? Could it have been a one time thing?

I'm so sorry to hear that - we ate there several times in October and had great meals each time. Maybe yesterday was a fluke?

Sorry to hear about your bad experience at B&C. I have never ate there, but know how disappointing it is to get a done burger when you want a rare one. It is the only way I will eat them. I hope it was a fluke as MM saidd and that you give it another try since it was one of your favorites.

Gosh, I don't mean to sound preachy but don't you guys know how dangerous it is to eat rare hamburger meat? It's much more open to bacteria than regular steaks, chops, etc. and really must be cooked thoroughly. Maybe Disney is just trying to make sure that no one gets sick. My closest friend was critically ill with e-coli which she contacted through an undercooked hamburger, and believe me, it is no joke. I would never take the chance of eating hamburger that hasn't been thoroughly cooked.

Geeze, I wonder if a few of us bumped into each other and did not even know it....I was there a ton of time this week...mostly through the take out side....but we did eat there once, and yesterday had the kitcken sink....a warning, if you get that, they blink the lights and draw ALL attention to your table.... :-)
but we had such a lousy week in disney, my 8 year old saw the kitchen sink on tv, and really wanted it...it was a reward for her....and the 5 of us could not finish it....

Maybe it might be dangerous to eat meat rare, but if they offer it,and they do,the customer should get what they order. I will go there for the ice cream sundaes, though.

Janice -

I know it's not very good for you. It's one of my few vices. I love to hear the cow "moo" when I bite in...sorry that was a little on the gross side. I like it very very rare as rare as they are allowed to cook it. I just can't eat it *done*. I have tried...it just doesn't taste right.
Try them one more time Alma. If you have always been please with their service and only had one bad experience, it may have just been an "off" day for the cook.

Hmmm... where exactly is Beaches & Cream located? Is it within walking distance of Epcot?

Thanks,
Alfredo
