Valenitine's Dinner
My boyfriend and I are meeting in WDW for Valentine's. This will be our first Valentine's together since he was deployed in the Gulf last year. We just found out last night that we are going. We are spending alot just trying to get down there and don't have much money. We spend every red cent just trying to see each other once a month (He's in Seattle, I'm in San Diego). I can't decide where would be a moderately priced place to eat a romantic meal. I am afraid it is too late to get PS anywhere really good considering that everyone else will want to do the same thing that night. Just looking for a hint on a budget dinner for two.

Here's my suggestions:
with park admission: Epcot - San Angel Inn (Mexico) - romantic setting by the river (all indoors) - a few days notice should get you PSs no problem Epcot - Morroco - can't remember the name, but the place is GORGEOUS, there's live entertainment, and you feel like you're in a $$$ place instead of a $$ place - you really don't need a PS for here, sadly it's never crowded despite how wonderful the place is without park admission: Downtown Disney - Portobello Yacht Club - this one's a bit more pricy (by about $5), but the ambience is nice (less expensive than it's raved-about neighbor, Fulton's Crab House or the Flying Fish Cafe at the Boardwalk) Kona Cafe at the Polynesian - it's nice, but the layout of the tables isn't very "secluded" feeling; I don't know how to describe it, but you don't have that feeling of privacy you get at other places; however the decor of the Polynesian is wonderful, and it's the perfect place for a romantic after dinner stroll and this Board's favorite activity of watching the MK fireworks from the beach (I've never done it, personally) Animal Kingdom Lodge - Boma -- a buffet that I've never been to, but again, everyone LOVES it and the AKL setting is WONDERFUL!!!, that hotel is like a compelte vacation in and of itself -- there's ethnic things to buy at the gift store, gorgeous lobby and outside chairs to hang out in, and a short walk around a rock outcropping kind of observation platform to see the animals the above will run you an average of about $15-20 per entree. these are the "$$" places in Birnbaum's book. I can't think of any "$" places for an actual meal that would be like a great romantic and classy restaurant for a special meal. But at least it ain't as bad as Victoria And Alberts at over $100 per person!!!
