Hi Everyone!

I am a newbie and have been reading these threads for what seems like DAYS! I can't believe all the AWESOME information on this site! All I can say is WOW! You should print the info out and make you own guide book!

After all the reading I do have a question for all of you..

This will be my 3rd trip to Disney and my DH and 7yr old DD's 1st. I really want her to experience character dinning at it's best! Of course, I have my heart set on Cinderella's Castle which sounds VERY difficult to get!

When should I call in for PS? I live in Mn and I am not sure of the time change ect... We are staying 8 full days in the end of April early May... So, I thought I would try for everyday and hope we get one?????

I keep having dreams that I miss the PS reservation time by an hour!

Any thoughts or suggestions for the next best thing in case I can't get PS w/ Cinderella?

That is central time right? You want to start calling at 6:50 EST and keep redialing until you get through. When you hear the man talk, press 1,2,1,1 and you will get pushed through quicker and not have to listen to all of the options.

If all else fails and you can't get a PS there, go for the Princess Story Book Breakfast at Norway or dinner at 1900 Park Fare....not quite CRT, but close enough.

Welcome to DC, we are glad you found us!

Start calling at about 6:50-6:55 am WDW time. You need to adjust to your time zone. Do a practice call a day or two before your 90 day make so you know the right numbers to push, timing is everything in getting CRT.

It is just luck if you get it. Try calling every day until you get it, starting with the first day you can go. Have a credit card in hand when you call, you need to have a CC to hold your PS. If you have a cell phone and a home phone, get help, two phones are better than one.

Great idea! I do have a cell... UGGHH....Sounds like we'll be up EARLY those days! But, it will be worth it if we make it!

I always new I would go back to Disney ... someday.. now that it is SO close ( ok, ok- 3 months away) I am dying to get there! Especially w/ my DD :heart being such a great age!

My DH has NO CLUE what is in store for him! We went to Wisconsin Dells and he thought that was the coolest place on earth! Is there any way to explain DisneyMagic to a rookie?

A few other quick questions,
Is it true 20,000 leagues is gone for good? Tell me it is not!
Last time I was there they were working on it but I didn't think it was closed??? It was my FAVORITE!

Anyone tried the Nascar Rides? Are they on Disney property? and worth the $? DH is a Nascar FANATIC and I thought that would be a cool BD present for him if it is worth it.

Rookie - just bring him and let Disney speak for itself. He will fall in love at the first sight of the castle! Grab the planning tape they give out for free on disney.com

20,000 leagues is gone for good....bummer for me too. It's now a place to get your pictures taken with different characters (very time consuming...do character meals)

That is horrible about 20,000.. Loved that ride.... I am sure there are a million new things that are just as awesome since my last visit!

Hi, I know this is the restaurant board too but wanted to reply to your NASCAR question (Richard Petty experience right?) and being new myself, I have no idea if you posted this somewhere else too.

I know it's really close for you so don't know if it's too late but if you can swing it DO the Richard Petty!

My DH has done it once in Charlotte and once in Atlanta and it is totally awesome!! It was worth every penny for my DH. I was totally impressed with their customer service, etc...
