Welcome to DC! Alot of times you can get in if you call on the day you want to go. Sometimes though the times will not be what you were hoping for. Since you can book 90 days in advance, I would call and book the ones you really want, just in case. You can always change your mind once you are in WDW. Have a great trip!

Welcome to DC! If you know there are certain restaurants you would like to go to then I would make my PS 90 days out. I would also recommend having some type of plan as to which parks you will be visiting on which days. This will make planning your PS's a little easier. You can always change your plans and PS's later if you need to.

I agree...if you know which restaurants you want to eat at, I would make PS's ahead of time. Don't get me wrong, when you get to WDW, you will still probably be able to make a bunch of PS's, but there are times when you can't get ANYTHING you want! I wanted to go to Ohana one night for dinner in December. I was staying at the Poly and I never thought to make a PS...and I always wanted to eat there! :dazed
Well, I called for a PS and NOTHING available AT ALL. I decided to take a walk to the restaurant to see how long the walk-in wait was, and they weren't taking walk-ins until 10PM!!!!!!! :( So you're better safe than sorry, by booking early...and you can always cancel or change your PS's around as your plans change. This way you're GUARANTEED to be able to eat at the places you really want to!!! ;)
