input on restaurant plans, and a question...
It's me again, everyone. We've booked out DD's WDW birthday trip, and so I figured it was time, to plan things a smidge further. Here's a thumbnail sketch of some of the places my DW and I have read about and caught our eyes, for dining. Any input would be greatly appreciated...
Breakfasts-character breakfast and Chef Mickeys, and Restaurantasaurus. Other mornings, just grab something at the resort. Lunch-Character lunches at Crystal Palace and the Garden Grill. Also lunch at ESPNZone, Flame Tree BBQ, and The Plaza, or Pecos Bill. Dinner-No character meals. Our prime choices from what we've read are, Trail's End, Tony's, Hollywood and Vine(may be a character meal?), Olivia's, Maya Grill, Mitsukoshi, Planet Hollywood, and Le Cellier. Of course, all those Lunch and Dinner options can be switched around, but I was curious what all the vets here, thought of our choices, so far. Also, I had a question. Is there anyplace online, that lists Best of, items, like Best Burger, Best Steak, Best Wings, etc? Thanks in advance......

Just FYI...Hollywood and Vine is a great buffet but it is no longer a character meal. I have seen a "best burger", "best pizza" listing but it wasn't online. It was in the Birnbaum Guide to WDW. I think you will really like Teppanyaki. It was my two DS's favorite last time. Your list looks good to me! (looks so good actually I am getting hungry now! LOL) Have a super trip!

As memory serves me, Best Burger is Beaches'n'Cream at the Beach Club Resort Best Steak is at Le Cellier, although some chose Yachtsman Steakhouse or the California on in the Contemporary. We do a "Best" thing here from timt to time. Best drink, dessert, quiet dinner, splurge have all come up that I am remembering. FYI There is also quite a thread on "Where not to eat". Just be aware that some comments may be based on personal tastes as well as how the restaurant is.
