Eating at Resorts

Hey all,
Tweaking our itinerary produced these extremely basic questions.

Looks like we will leave MGM early Saturday to prepare for Pleasure Island later in the evening (we're staying off-site). So, we will take our car from MGM late afternoon to one of the resorts for a Q&C voucher meal. Is parking free at the resorts? Is there a better or worse time to plan a meal at the resorts?

Thanks much,

Kent

First of all welcome to DC. :)

Parking at WDW resorts is free. You will get a 3 hour parking pass when you arrive at the gate. Eating at off times helps to avoid the larger crowds, try to eat after 2 for a late lunch or before 5 pm for dinner.

Where are you thinknig of eating? I have heard Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club is really good and a great value with vouchers.

Thanks for the help there DT. Yes, we have narrowed it to Beaches or or Peppers at Orleans. Peppers menu looks superb and it's clearly the best overall value for the vouchers - but we've never eaten there. SHould be an adventure either way!

Welcome to DC! Peppers at Orleans? Is that offsite? Onsite I have heard of the pepper market at Coronado Springs...and Port Orleans Riverside has Boatwrights, but I have never heard of Peppers or Orleans? Can you give more details? Thanks! Have a great trip! :)

I personally never really liked The Pepper market. Beaches has great food though!

Thanks all,
Yes, I meant Pepper's at Coronado SPrings - sorry. Two less than glowing reviews of Peppers, hmmm. the menu sounds great. Looks like we'll go with Beaches and rethink Peppers.

I have never eaten at either...but Beaches and Cream seems WAYYYY more popular than The Pepper Market from all the sites I read.

I would only eat at the Pepper Market if I were staying at CSR for convenience. We've stayed there and eaten there. It is certainly not worth a trip over there when there are so many other places to choose from. I can't wait to try Beaches n Cream. I've seen so many good things said about that restaurant. We are definitely going to try it on our next trip.
