Hey all -

I just found out that the day I have my PS for CRT, MK is open early (The Extra Magic Hour .. or something like that). Does that mean the park is open for people staying onsite at 8:00 AM?

If so, can I get in a wee bit early to make my 8:20 AM CRT? How much earlier can I get in?

With the park opening at 8 AM, and your PS at 8:20 AM, you will be able to get in with everyone else at 8 AM. Make sure you have a confirmation number for your PS, just in case they ask.

That means that if you hurry when they let you in at 8am before your PS your DD may be able to wake up Tink at her shoppe at the back of Cindy's castle. That would be a cute way to start the day before you get to see the princesses at CRT.

OOh that would be FUN!
My only problem is that when I made reservations ... I had to make them for 5 (that was the only table available). I only need 4 - but they won't let me cancel the other seat :cry: I hate to be taking up (let alone PAYING FOR) extra seats at such a sought after reservation as this.
Any ideas what I can do with the extra seat?

Last time I was at WDW was pre-child about 9 years ago so I didn't know about all this neat stuff!!!
We have CRT PS for 8:10 on a non-early entry day... what time would we need to be at the "rope"?? and where is the rope/shop if I am exiting CRT? My DD (7) would be so excited if she could actually do this!

When you come in or out of CRT at the back of the castle, TINK's shoppe is right on there on the left.

Great! Is there a rope that opens? or I just go from the castle to the shop and wait for it to open? Ok, Mom's more obsessed more than DD LOL! I want to wake up Tink! How magical!

Speaking of CRT, I just have to share the neatest thing! I bought a Tink postcard for DD and had my director at work write a short note to DD from Cinderella saying she was so excited to see her for breakfast at CRT... signed, your friend Cinderella.... I was planning on sending it a few weeks before we left... Turns out DD's teacher went to WDW for spring break and was willing to SEND it for us! So it has the postmark Orlando, Florida! How COOL is that! DD is baffled about Cinderella having her name! I love it! She is SO excited now that she got that! I plan to give Cinderella a "hint" when we see her "thank you so much for the postcard you sent DD.. she loved the pic of Tink"ect
Do you think Cinderella will "get it"?LOL

Oh, Yeah! She'll get it. I don't know about the rope thing, my DD is 10 and really isn't into that whole thing with breakfast with princesses and running to wake Tinkerbell, but have I got a Cindy story for you.

We had PS seating for CRT during our trip in Oct 2003. It was my DD's first trip to WDW, and I had eaten there every year as a child and we decided to continue the tradition. She sat in the big throne as we came in and was talking up a storm. She wanted to take the elevator, and pushed the button and was gabbing away as door opened. She goes to step on to the elevator and almost runs head first into.... Cinderella. She was speechless. Her mouth dropped open. Cinderella said "oh my dear! I didn't mean to scare you. Are you all right?" My DD still mute just nods. Cinderella asks if she wants an autograph. DD still mute holds her hand out to me for the book. I ask Meghan if she wants a picture with Cinderella. At this point she gains her voice back and says Yes. She tells Cinderella that "Her dress is beautiful." Cinderella says " Thank you. I got it from my Fairy Godmother. Do you have a fairy godmother?" Meghan says "Yes. My grandma." and points to my mom. I take the pictures, and Cinderella tells us to enjoy our lunch, her Royal Chef will make something special just for us. She also tells us to have a magical day. With that, we get on the elevator and my DD tells me Cinderella must live in the Castle or she wouldn't use the elevator.

Cute, huh. That was just the first interesting happening during a very magical vacation. :)

How sweet!
I just can't wait to see how my DD will react.. She is shy but is VERY excited and I know she'll talk about it FOREVER! I hope during our stay we find ourselves in a surprise magical moment!
