Cinderella's Royal Table

Hey its me again .. with more questions ...

Is "Cinderella's Royal Table" the character breakfast with all the princesses? I called and got PS for the Cinderella character breakfast at the castle (yahoo) My biggest challenge now is getting a four year old child up at 3:30 AM (our time - three hours ahead of WDW time) in order to have her ready and at the park at the right time. Any suggestions on how to make this less painful for everyone involved? I am already relying heavily on the "pixie dust" factor .. by that I mean just the fact that we are in WDW and going to see princesses should be a BIG motivator

I just registered with Connections123 online, and there are vouchers for the "Cinderella's Royal Table" breakfast available through them for $18.25 per adult and $11.00 per child. Is this a good price?

The Princesses should be enough motivation to get her moving..lol You got one of the most cherished and hard to get Ps's in all of WDW..pat yourself on the back. She may be a bit cranky during the afternoon due to getting up earlier than she is used to, so just plan on an afternoon break at the resort until she gets used to WDW time...no biggie. You will be surprised how motivated these kids get by the characters..lol The vouchers are a good deal for the adults, but skip getting them for the kids...they cost more than the actual meal. Order them for all the adults in your party and call back WDW and tell them that you are using vouchers for that meal and they will credit your card back for the deposit you placed. They will keep your card number only in case of a "no show". If for some reason you cannot get to this meal, make sure you call and cancel. You will be charged for a "no show"...hopes this helps. Congrats on getting CRT! You should get your DD a princess dress for this meal. They (the princesses) make a huge fuss out of the kids dressed like them. She will get that added attention from everyone that day...just a thought.

Tip: As soon as the park opens, I mean the moment the rope drops, head straight for Tinkerbell's Treasures near the caslte. If your DD is the first child in that day she gets to wake up Tinkerbell. She will get a certificate and a wand for waking her up. It's adorable to watch.

What a great idea (the princess dress I mean). DD has a Snow White dress she got at Disneyland last year for a Halloween costume. The day we bought it, we went to listen to the princess storytelling session, and (this was SO COOL) Snow White was the one telling the story! After she was done with her story, she asked my daughter if she could walk with her to the castle.

I have some WONDERFUL pictures of the two of them skipping across the bridge to the castle there.

Needless to say, Snow White is now her all-time favorite character and I am REALLY hoping she will be there for the breakfast. Someone told me that if you slip a character your name and address, they will mail you an 8X10 signed picture, so I am hoping I can get one for my daughter's room.

I didn't know about the Tinkerbell wake up - that sounds like a great idea. Our PS is for 8:30 - so we will already be right there when the park opens. :D

Go as early as you can to the breakfast and hope to get in as soon as possible. The rope drops at exactly 9am on non Early Entry days and you have to rush right in there to wake her up. If you miss out on this day, try to get to Mk early on another day to do this. It's a really cute thing to be a part of. The Snow White dress is perfect and she was there when I went in January/February. The princesses we had were Auroa, Snow white, Cinderella, and Mary Poppins. The fairy Godmother is usually in the lobby after you eat and is REALLY great with the kids. You have to stop and see her. Snow White was also right across from Peter Pans Flight and to the left of it's a small world. She was in the entry way of the old sky ride for pictures and autographs. She's an easy one to find. Make sure to see her in the MGM Stars and Motor Cars Parade too. She has her own car...very cute parade. I can't wait to hear about your trip when you return. What other meals do you have planned?

Do you know how early they will let you into the park before your reservation?

We are eating at the Rose and Crown at 7:30 one night (thanks, BTW for your advice on that on another thread)

We are also eating at the SciFi drive-in. My brother and his son will LOVE it there (brother is the King of B-Movies)

I'm thinking as a surprise I'll make a PS at the grille for the ice cream sundae character thing - I believe a bit of ice cream on a hot day would be a treat! Last time we did it, there was almost no one there and Chip and Dale sat with us for quite awhile. It was great fun.

There was also a children's tea I was tempted to book at the Grand Floridian .. my only hesitation there is that my DD is terribly shy and its a "kids only" tea. I don't think she'd go for doing it solo and her sister is too old to participate (she's 16)

Yeay! CRT is quite a score! We ate there last time, more for the fun of finally eating at the castle and didn't expect much.

We had a GREAT time! The food was good and everybody was really nice there. DS has been a big Belle fan and she spent lots of time with him. I think he is in love  now.

I agree with Dana. Get the vouchers for the adults in your group. Also, make sure you stop and visit with the Fairy Godmother in the area where you wait for your table to be called. She is just wonderful with the kids. My son shared his autograph book with here and we had picutres of him with the characters pasted in there from his last trip. He was so proud sharing it with her and she treated him like a royal prince. He talked about her giving him magical Mickey glitter all day!

Have a wonderful time!

When I went to MK for my PS at CRT, they didn't even check my time for my PS. I just had to show my ticket and go through security real quick. I beleive they start seating at 8am for that character meal. You could probally get into MK at 7:45 if necessary. Just check in at the podium. They aren't going to turn you away. You may get in earlier than your PS. I went to the Crystal Palace WAY ahead of schedule and was seated immediately. It can't hurt to try. Worse case scenerio, you are standing in a desserted Mk surrounded by magic and beauty....sounds like a perfect way to start my day...lol My DD never did the tea, so I have no thoughts on that. Why not just go to Belle's Storytime in the MK. It's free and it's suppose to be very cute. If you are looking for another character meal to try, the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends its Excellent and is Chef Mickey's at the Comtemporary. My favorite last trip was O'hanna's at the Polynesian You kids of both ages WILL love it. They have coconut races and hula contests and it's just a great meal. It's now a "must-do" every trip for me and my DD. I am just running at the mouth now....what was the question?:laugh :laugh :laugh

Do they have other Princesses at CRT? I thought only Cinderella, The FairyGodmother and a few mice were present. Did they change it??

Also, I think the "note-slipping" is a Fairytale.

Rlander, didn't you have some info regarding this??

You are right. They do not do the note slipping thing anymore. Probably too many people doing that.

At CRT, I think there are like 4 other princesses there with Cinderella. We saw Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Wendy, and Belle when we were there in addition to Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother.

When we were there in Jan/feb, the princesses present at our meal were Cinderella, Auroa, Marry Poppins and Snow white. The Fairy God Mother was in the lobby. When we did CRT in 97, we had snow white, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and I think Mary Poppins again.

Dana, We had heard the same thing about slipping your name and address to a character. Our DGSs tried it last June and never received a picture. Someone else on the boards (can't remember who it was) had the same experience and as I remember, posted later that they had called WDW and was told WDW didn't do that type of thing. Hope this isn't too much of a disappointment but better now than to be expecting a picture in the mail. Sorry!
