Late for PS?

What happens if you are a little late for a PS at the parks or at the resorts? Do they tell you to hit the road, or do they try to squeeze you in?

Most of the time, I think they give you a 15 minute grace period, but you are probably a little dependent on the restaurant policy and the greeter CM's mood when you get there.

Also, at really crowded times, they will probably be a little less generous, especially if they are completely booked that night.

Also, remember that PS is "priority seating" not a reservation, so if it is reasonable they will probably try to fit you in.

Last year, the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend,I had a PS at 1900 Park Faire in the Grand Floridian for 7:00. I didn't realize until a few days before that that the first performance of the Flower Power concert was 5:45 and not 5:00. I called Disney dining when I got to my hotel room and asked if it would be okay if I could be 15 or so minutes late because I would be coming from the 5:45 show at Epcot, and they said that if I was more than 15 minutes late,I would be considered a no-show and wouldn't be given a table. Now bear in mind that was a busy holiday weekend, but still,I thought that was kind of harsh. I just cancelled my PS for PF and got a PS for Cape May cafe, which I enjoy a heck of alot more anyway.
