Thumbs up for Tusker House at AK

Had a very enjoyable meal at Tusker House in AK. Despite a very large crowd, we were in and out quickly and had our best meal experience there. Granted, we got a bit lucky on the line and table - I'm sure at times the wait was much longer.

The rotissirie (sp) chicken was delicious, as were the mashed potatoes and veggies. The kids enjoyed the chicken sandwiches and the salmon was also reported to be excellent.

Pricing is not really bad - though obviously I wouldn't call it cheap. The chicken and salmon were both $8.99.

We were using the Q&C vouchers - so we got large drinks and deserts - and were sufficiently stuffed to say the least. It was a good value with the Q&C based on what we actually paid for the vouchers.

I've eaten at Tusker House a couple times and really enjoyed it too. A couple years ago we had the AWESOME chicken ceasar salad there. I'm not sure if it's still on the menu, but it sure was tasty...:p
