Favorite character meals

Thanks to everyone who answered my other thread about PSs in Dec. I have decided to take all of the advice & make some for my stay.
Now my new question is where? :hmmm I have decided to do two character meals (1 breakfast & 1 dinner maybe) towards the end of the week when my DD (3) will be more familiar with seeing the characters & perhaps not as frightened by them :nervous .
Which are your favorite character meals (my DD likes all of the ones you can dine with about the same so favorites do not come into play here).
Outside of the character meals, what are some other favorite places to eat? Thanks again everyone for your help, I know that I can count on it.

O'Hana's for breakfast.

We have been 2 times and love it! They have activities for the kids during the meal.

We hit Chef Mickey's every trip to meet up with our favorite characters. We have never had a bad meal there and the characters are great if you like Mickey and friends. I have heard Crystal Palace is great if you like Pooh and friends. If you want to meet the princesses try either CRT or the Storybook breakfast in Epcot.

Aside from character meals we love, love, love 'Ohana at the Poly. If your family eats meat this place is great (there is also a kid's menu with fries and more simple things like burgers and chicken strips). The shrimp is to die for, I can't get enough of it. We also like The Plaza Restaurant (not the counter service Plaza Pavilion) on Main Street in MK. It is a great place to take a break and enjoy a lighter meal.

Here are the menus from both 'Ohana and Plaza Restaurant:

Our kids like Pooh so Crystal Palace worked really well for us. I thought that the buffet was really good as well. A great variety (even picky eaters should be able to find plenty to eat), nice kids buffet and a nice dessert buffet as well.

When we were there in 2002, each of the characters (Eeyore, Pooh, Tigger, Piglet) stopped by our table 2-3 times and were very patient as we tried to get both still photos and video footage of the characters and kids. Some of our best footage and photos from our last trip.

That's awesome... we did not have a great time at the Crystal Palace... characters only came by once, but the food was good. But we went to Chef Mickey's and had extreme character interaction and we expecting the same at crystal... little disappointed...

My point ask to be seated in the main room and understand that your experience may not be the same as you hear discribed, but it will still be a good time! The food was great at both!

Two other places that we enjoyed eating were the Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge and 50's Prime Time Cafe in MGM, buth have good food... I ended up in the corner at Prime time!:laugh Lots of fun!!!

I think my DW and I have decided that breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Lunch at Crystal Palace, and dinner at 1900 Park Fare, Cinderella's Gala Feast, will be the best meals for our DD...Of course, she's as excited to go to Al's Toy Barn, to meet Jessie as anything...
