telephone numbers

If i want to make p.s but am phoning from U.K which telephone numbers can i use?I read that one person was on hold for 40 minutes and I dont fancy the bill for that .Any ideas?
at Caz.

I don't know if the toll-free numbers will be good in the UK. My suggestion is unless it's Cinderella's Breakfast you want,to wait until you get to your first US airport and make PS's from there from a pay phone. You could be on hold up to an hour sometimes.
