Character Breakfast help?

Today I tried to get reservations for breakfast with Cind. in the MK. I began calling at 6:50EST and was connected at 7. I stayed on hold for 8 minutes and then was told there were no more reservations being taken, all booked up. What can I do to increase my chances of getting a reservation? Can I bypass the automated questions at the beginning of the call? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Try calling about 5 minutes earlier. In the past, it has usually taken us 2 or 3 days to get a PS for Cinderella. One other option is to use two phones to call, your landline and your cell.

I am sure others have some suggestions.

I don't think you can actually bypass the recording but you can jot the numbers you press down ahead of time and when you call in the AM press them quickly and get through the recording quicker. I tossed the numbers I wrote down but it was something like 1,2,1, 1 and then you are at the hold for an operator.

We got through the first day we tried.. YAAY! I researched the how to's here and got great advice from fellow DC'ers. We also had DH and I calling. I was the only one that got through.

I think it is also mentioned that you should try to call later in the day because sometimes people make several PS's by having friends call ect and then they cancel one.

If all else fails try calling when you get there for PS and see if there is any availability the day you want to go. Can't hurt if you really want it!

It is so exciting for the parent.. I mean the kids when you actually get the PS !!!

Sending pixie dust your way!

Try both what Mickey and Ammeris suggested. The 1,2,1,1 bypasses all the talking and connects you right away. At least it worked when I was making my PS's for my Jan/Feb trip. Try a dry run to make sure the numbers you have to choose are still the same. Enlist familiy members to help..I'm certain someone will. If all else fails and you don't get breakfast at CRT, The Princess Breakfast in Norway or Cinderella's dinner at 1900 park Fare are good alternatives. Crossing my fingers for you.

I can completely sympathize with you. Don't give up....keep calling back. My DH and I just booked our trip for June and it was way past the 90-days. The CM said it was my lucky day because she found us one open reservation at Cinderella's Table due to a cancellation. I am so excited to be taking my 15-month. It's her first trip to Disney.

Good luck!
