Best restaurant to view Night show in Epcot
We will be going back again in November and I am trying to talk my family into seeing a night show in Epcot while eating dinner, so I was trying to find out which restaurant has the best view. We are meat and potatoes people, can the show be seen from Canada?
Can you see the night show in MGM from one of the restaurants? If so which is the best to see it from? Any other suggestions?

The Canada Steakhouse doesn't have windows... :(
I think the best restaurant views are from France (the expensive one upstairs) and Japan (the lounge). I'm pretty sure that the pub in the U.K. offers a pretty good view, but I've never been able to get seats. :( IMO, you're best bet is to make reservations early enough to get out in time to find a good spot and stake your place about 45 minutes before the show. That way you can chill out, relax, maybe someone in your party can go get some ice-cream while you watch the spot. If you have a digital camera with a view screen, it's also a great time to review the pics that you took during the day. Last time we went, when we were hanging out waiting for the show, everytime the Irish jig music played, my daughter performed a mini Irish step dance for anyone who would watch. It's just a great way to relax at the end of the day.

Kind of off topic, but have you eaten at the Canada Steakhouse? If so how was it and do you remember what the prices were?

Le Cellier menu
Click on the link to see Le Cellier's dinner menu. They have great steaks and the Cheddar Cheese soup is wonderful! Make sure you get ps ressies for this restaurant. It is difficult to get a walk-up table most times of the year. |

The Rose and Crown in England has a great view of Illuminations. You need to make a PS for 7:30 and ask for a seat on the patio. They fill these seats as they come available, but you do have the option to wait.
We were there last week and had the perfect seat for illuminations, and we watched as we ate our desert. The food is good and the waiters are great. I had Roasted Chicken and potatoes. My wife had Fish and chips. My sons had pasta. If you end up getting a seat inside the pub, they allow you to stand on the patio to watch Illuminations. We did this last year, and had a good view. In my opinion, it is better than trying to find a spot and have to get that spot early.

A great place to view the fireworks is from the Cantina in Mexico. The food (and the drinks) are good and the tables offer a nice view of Illuminations.
Also, Mickey Maniac if you get a chance to go to Hollywood and Vine, please do!!! I thought that the buffet was excellent and so is the wait staff. We have had the pleasure of having the same waitress twice (Laura) and she is great fun!!!!! Enjoy!!! Amy
