Concourse Steakhouse

Has anyone ever eaten there? I've stayed at the Contemporary 4 or 5 times and never once have eaten there. How's the food? Im planning dinners for my November trip and Im looking for a new place to try and Im trying to figure out if its worth the trip from Pop Century. Any ideas? Thanks!!

The breakfast is great and so is the hamburger at lunch. The dinner meal is not bad but very expensive. If you want a good steak and don't mind paying for it. I suggest the Yatch Club Steakhouse instead.

Yeah I hit the Yachtsman's Steakhouse every trip. That and the California Grill. I was looking for other places. I'll keep looking though.

The Concourse Steakhouse isn't bad, but as suggested above, Le Cellier is a lot better if you're looking for a steak. We had one of our family reunion dinners at the Concourse last summer because it was the only place that could accommodate our large party on fairly short notice. The food and service were fine, nothing outstanding, but the restaurant doesn't have much in the way of atmosphere.

The atmosphere's a bit bland because there's no roof and the booths are vinyl. There's nothing wrong or bad or tacky about it, but isn't as charming as other restaurants are. The food is good though, I thought - had breakfast there once, and then a chefs salad kind of thing for dinner which was HUGE.

Hey Metalfan,
We've eaten at almost every restaurant at every disney hotel and park at leat twice (we have dining cards), and here's my opinion for what it's worth:

Steaks: YC is good, but Shula's is better, in fact, LeCellier was good, but nothing impressive, except their breadsticks are fabulous!

Concourse: Haven't had the steak there, nor breakfast, but other meals have been very good, and the french onion soup is great!

Also, this board, and allears.net has tons of reviews on most restaurants. They're very informative.

Have fun and enjoy your trip!

Shula's is boring to us...lol..We live in South Florida and have 2 here. I've been checking out reviews. I've come to a pretty solid list except for 1 night and I think we might just relax in the hotel and get a pizza.
