Yacht Club Galley Restaurant?

I haven't been to the Yacht Club in a few years and this restaurant had been a favorite in the early to mid 90s for their chicken potpies. What happened to this place?

Is it gone? Down for refurb?

If its gone, that's a shame. It was a great place.

The Yacht Club has done rennovation work on their restuarants in the last few years. The one which I think is called the galley was closed for one of our trips, and we had lunch at the Yacthsman Steakhouse instead -- which was only open for lunch because the other was closed. But now they are both up and running. Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner, and the other for breakfast (I think it's a buffet) and lunch. They've got a great club sandwich for lunch. :)

Amneris beat me to the punch -
We love taking time out during the day to have dinner or lunch at one of the resorts during our journeys, and the Yachtsman, and indeed both restaurants in the Y&B Club, were quite good.

Yacht Club Galley is open for business. While it used to be open all three meals, for now, it is only open for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast has both a buffet and a la carte menu, and lunch is from the menu (Sorry, no Chicken Pot Pie).

We had dinner there before it closed for rehab, and it was easily the worst meal I have ever had on property. Horrible service and bad food. It was empty at 8 PM, should have been a sign. I have heard better reviews since it has reopened, but definitely not something to go out of your way for.

Beach Club

:)

HI

We had a fantastic lunch @ Beach Club in Feb.
Cheap, too!
Gourmet Greatness!;)

we had an over stuffed shrimp salad on a croisant (sp)?
and the soup we had was even better-
Chicken Cordon Blue! I believe it was around 8.95 for both
for lunch

VERY CHEAP for Gourmet Greatness

if you get a chance try them, you'll be glad you did!

I agree with Mari Annie. We've only been since the rehab, and both times lunch was excellent and at good prices. :)
