what exactly is breakfast pizza?

I have noticed that downsouthtigger really seems to enjoy a breakfast pizza at the character breakfast in Animal Kingdom. Can tigger or anyone else tell me what this "pizza" is. Also, do they serve this family style, buffet or individual?

OMG, I got a thread after me???

Hey I have noticed I do mention that breakfast pizza all the time.
Its something I've grown up with for some reason, since my folks would always buy em for me and it's just hard to find them on buffets.
Basically its a pizza first off, with a biscuit crust.
Then it's topped with eggs and the sauce is gravy (you know the white kind for sausage or biscuits?).
Then topped with cheese, naturally. The toppings vary, but usually it's either bacon or sausage.
Like I said I've been eating those things since I was young. Still if you love pizza and breakfast it's great!!
Sorry to cause all this confusion over breakfast pizza. I didnt think it was a southern thing, is it?? Either that or maybe I'm just weird???

Here in Maine the breakfast pizza is a bit different. The crust is a regular pizza crust. Then comes a layer of cheese, eggs, then the meat topping. Very tasty! Ours don't have the gravy.

Thanks Tigger & everyone else. I am definitely going to try this pizza. I think it sounds delicious. First IMO, you cannot go wrong with biscuit crust & gravy on top of that. Eggs are a standard for breakfast so no excitement there. Meat of any sort is good for me. The only thing I would like more is if they incorporated some type of potato, but perhaps this would be overkill. I guess I shouldn't change it without trying it first! Anyway with the buffet I can always do potato on the side.
I am now adding the breakfast @ AK to my PS for Dec. My DD can see some characters & I can try the pizza. Thanks again
