Chef Mickey's - New Location?

This is an historical question.

Didn't Chef Mickey's used to be at DTD? (Formerly known as the Lake Buena Vista Village)

I was tooling around the disney.com website today and noticed that Chef Mickey's is as the Contemporary.

When did it move?

yep it was at DTD .. it was moved when they started building the Rainforest Cafe :)

there was a charactor meal at the contemporay .. I may be wrong (it happens *grin*) but I think it was at the Concourse then .. but it was not Chef Mickey's .. some where I have a picture of the girls standing with the Chef Mickey statue that was at DTD before they moved it. It could even be posted on DC some place.

I remember when Chef Mickey's was at DTD. We have mugs from there (and they were free!!). We showed up the year that it moved and were lost. We even had to ask a CM where it had gone! :laugh

I still have those free mugs and use them all the time! I know it was still in DTD in 1995. We had breakfast there for our honeymoon in 1994 and then we took some friends back in summer '95, so it must have moved after that. I remember being confused about what happened to it when it moved, too! We also love it at the contemporary, though.
