Rose & Crown down for rehab

WDW is reporting that Epcot's Rose & Crown pub and dining room is closed for refurbishment until early July. The restaurant is supposed to be back in operation for the July 4 weekend.

Update: I was at Epcot Wednesday afternoon (4/21) and checked with both guest relations and the restaurant itself. The Rose & Crown is being refurbished but is still open. The bar area has been temporarily closed and relocated to a tent while the work is being done.

Re: Rose & Crown down for rehab

I read this on Mouseplanet the other day. We have ressies for dinner during the refurbishment time. I called Disney Dining to get the scoop. They said the restaurant will remain open, but the bar/pub will be closed.

I hope they gave me the correct information. I may call back just to make sure.

Hmmm, my information comes directly from a WDW publicity communication. I'll be at Epcot later this afternoon and will stop by and check it out. Sorry if I've caused concern for anyone.

I was at Epcot on Monday and it seemed to be doing a brisk business.

I agree DD. I guess we will just have to settle for the British Invasion. Like that will be hard for us to do. I was really looking forward to see Pam Brody. Love, Mom

Again, my apologies for causing any undue concern.
