After reading another thread in this forum in which WDW Dining scheduled the incorrect time for a party at Chef Mickey's, I decided to phone and confirm all my PS's.

Well, they messed up again! We had scheduled the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Epcot for next Thursday at 9am. They gave us CRT instead... That may not sound so bad, but:
1. We're already scheduled at CRT for Tuesday morning
2. My girls wanted PSB even more than CRT!

This will be heartbreaking for them. I am not pleased!

I know that I was very specific when requesting PSB. The person who arranged the PS even commented on the breakfast, expected travel time from our hotel to Epcot, etc.

We tried to reschedule, but at this late time there are no available slots for PSB on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, the other days we could go.

And to make matters worse, that's our scheduled Epcot day!

Ah, well, sorry ... I just needed to vent.

Oh Dear! I am so sorry that they messed up your PS's. They unfortunately screwed up a few of mine before and I call and recheck them often...anal, yes, but it's worth the aggrevation and the toll call. Some people would say how lucky you are to score two PS's at CRT, but it's not helping your dilema with PSB and your Epcot day. Keep calling back for cancellations...it does happen. Also, try getting a PS once you are down there. Good lcuk. I hope it works out for you. I know how hard it is to let your kids down when they have their hearts set on something....stinks! You vent whenever you want. It's what we are here for right?

Thanks a lot Dana! Sounds like this is a common problem then. Oh well, we've still got Chef Mickeys, Ohana, CRT, Spirit of Aloha ... .

I think we'll have lots of fun dining experiences!

I would try for cancellations even after you arrive!!!

It does happen from time to time unfortunately, but with all large businesses, there is always room for human error. I alwasy check and then check again...lol I drive them crazy! You have a great line-up for PS's and are going to have a great time. Ohanna's is EXCELLENT and will be one of the first Ps's I book for my January trip. Please let me know how the Spirit of Aloha is. I was considering that one too, but want some more feedback on it. Chef Mickey's is one of my all time favorite Character meals...you'll be happy with that one. If you have any free days due to this mix-up, try Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom. It's a buffet character meal with Pooh and friends....Love it there. The breaksfast, in my opinion is the best, but all of the meals are great.

Yes, good idea. No luck so far, but I will continue to try.

I may try to bribe a concierge to do it for me ...

The girls ADORE Pooh! I don't know why we hadn't heard about this one before; must not have been paying attention.

Just called to confirm all of my PS ressies. Everything was o.k., but the CM wasn't very enthusiastic to check 8 numbers for me. After each one she said, "Have a magical day". I had to keep saying, "I've got a few more". She huffed and asked for the numbers.

Jeff, that's unfortunate customer service, but it's good to hear that all of your arrangements are accurate.

When I called and said that I wanted to confirm mine, the CM asked for my name. She typed it in and could see all of them at once, and it was very convenient. In fact, she read them to me! I was impressed, until of course we found the one that was wrong. But all is better now, thanks to Dana!

I had a very similar experience. I asked her to check and she asked for my phone number.

The thing that stinks for the CM's is that they come up in order of PS # and not according to date. But the CM that I spoke to went out of her way to read them off in order of date.

If a CM ever acts like that with me, I usually tease them a bit and ask if they are having a bad day. That usually perks them up and I end up getting better service after that.

WOW guys... I gues I am going to have to watch this for my future trips!

We had no problems with ours... as a matter fact we were seated early on most occasions.

Hmmm... did I hear someone complaining because they have 2 resies for CRT I only wish I could have gotten either of those two breakfast... I could not and my little princess was heart broken... especially when she saw the castle! Just joking... just had to give you a hard time!

Seriously, it is very discouraging when you have something planned and it gets spoofed by human error... I would have thought WDW would fix the problem! I mean it is obvious that you would not want 2 PS to the same restaurant... right?
