My DH and I are taking our 15-month old DD to WDW for the first time next month. We have never eaten in the World Showcase and would love to try it this time. The CM suggested Alfredo's or Le Cellier's. Any preference for one or the other...especially having the baby along??

Re: EPCOT --- Alfredo's or Le Cellier
We love Le Cellier. The food is tremendous and the servers are extremely friendly! You may also want to try Rose & Crown in the UK area. There's an outdoor seating area and the food is very good.

Le Cellier every time. Have you considered Restaurant Marrakesh? They have belly dancers, good food, and my kids love it. Might be a good option with the baby.

Re: EPCOT --- Alfredo's or Le Cellier
We've tried both, and out of the two choices, I would go with LeCellier. It is delicious!!

Re: EPCOT --- Alfredo's or Le Cellier
We have done both but in my opinion they are too different to compare side by side. It depends what you are in the mood for. If I had to choose though, I would pick Le Cellier because I am such a big fan of a good steak.
We did not have kids at Alfredo's, we had a total of 4 kids ranging from 5 to 14 mo. in our party at Le Cellier's and it was not too bad.

Re: EPCOT --- Alfredo's or Le Cellier
I've never been to Le Cellier, but everyone generally likes it. The steaks are supposedly very good. Alfredo's is good, but not great and it's a little over-priced. Alfredo's is probably better for a couple or an older family (tweeners and teens).
Neither restaurant has much of a view. The atmosphere at Alfredo's is a bit upscale. I agree with Mickey that Marrakesh is something else you could consider. There's a lot of good finger food on the menu that your DD would enjoy by simply picking off your plates. She'd probably also like the entertainment as well and in general, it's a great atmosphere for kids. The Chinese Pavillion is also a good place to eat with lots of finger-food options, although the atmosphere is similar to Alfredo's. HTH.

Re: EPCOT --- Alfredo's or Le Cellier
We ate at Alfredo's and loved it, and plan to do it again. The food was excellent the waiter (good he was cute - from my DD) was very solicitious and the dessert looked to die for. We ate there for lunch and it was very impressive. They have a kid's menu and they give you a lot of food for the value. My DD was 10 and they treated her like a little princess. There were also several people in there with small children and I didn't see any problems.
We have not tried Le Cellier, but we plan to, so I really can't give an honest opinion on it. However, a lot of people on here have tried it and they really enjoy it; however, if you authentic tasting Italian food in an incredible setting with good service, then I would say Alfredo's. But that's just my opinion.
