Re: Favorite Character Meal

I really enjoyed the Character breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table (of course that was 30 mins after our sneak wedding in front of the castle so I don't remember much!).
CP has a fabulous Character breakfast as well. The characters spent a lot of time with our table as it was my step daughter's birthday. They brought her cupcake and an autographed birthday card. Nothing impresses an 8 yr. old more than a cupcake for breakfast!
I also truly love Liberty Tree Tavern, although the characters did not interact as much as the other places we've enjoyed. The food more than makes up for it though!

A little off the subject:
MGM has a little place that has great Ice Cream. Can't remember the name.
Only that it was shaped like a boat?

Re: Favorite Character Meal

I would say 1900 Park Fare was our #1 followed by CP. For a total dining experience we liked the Backyard BBQ the best. The food was great and the kids love interacting with the characters.

Re: Favorite Character Meal

Here's what we've tried:
Breakfast at the Grosvenor: Was OK..food was good though

Breakfast @ O'Hana's (Poly): LOVED it! Food was good, great atmosphere and they got the kids up to do a Conga line around the restaurant..that was cute!

Dinner: (twice-2 years apart) Crystal Palace: In 2000 it was awesome! Awesome food and all the Pooh characters. In 2003 the same characters, but the food was downright AWFUL..not sure if I'd try it again.

Capy May Cafe: (Breakfast) LOVED it too! There were many characters, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale, maybe one or two more. The food was awesome..they were SUPER nice and gave autographs and we took pics with all of them. We are doing this again this trip. The Clam Bake at dinner is good too, but no characters.

Cinderella's Royal Table: Breakfast: LOVED this too. Food was good, just dining in the castle was neat, all the princesses were there and were very nice.

I'd like to try Chef Mickey's!

Re: Favorite Character Meal

We did the character dinner at the Garden Grill. The characters were great. They came to the table ALOT. The food was just okay. It was served family style and there was plenty of it. But I just didn't like some of the choices.

We went Crystal Palace for dinner. It was great. Good food and the character were excellent.

We also went to the Liberty Tree Tavern. It was excellent. The characters came around alot and the food was great.
We are going to do the Liberty Tree Tavern again this October.

Chef Mickey and Minnie is a must, 1900 Park Fare is great as well. Donalds Breakfastsaurus depends on the cm that you get for your table. Liberty Tree is also good. CRT is great....okay I like them all.............

Re: Favorite Character Meal

i've been to quite a few character dinings during both trips. crystal palace and cape may cafe are high up there on my list.

i love the crystal palace because of the winnie the pooh characters. i also love it that almost 20 minutes or so, they pull kids out of their seats, give them instruments and they put on a little parade. it is so cute. also, the crystal palace is so close to the castle. it's a great way to see the fireworks while you eat. another thing, you can go there any time for breakfast, lunch or dinner and all the characters will be there waiting for you.

i also love the cape may cafe for breakfast because of chip & dale, goofy and minnie. i had so much fun the first time rob and i ate at CMC. chip and dale were such a riot. i think it was chip that fed me my eggs. i got lots of kisses from both of them. it was lots of fun. i enjoyed going there for breakfast a lot.
