Ok we are going to do an Illuminations cruise when we go in Septmeber so I have a question about it!!

The day we do the cruise we are going to start the day with the Princess Storybook breakfast, then spend the day at Epcot. In the evening we want to walk to Beaches and Cream for dinner then catch our cruise after that!!

The question is We will be staying at the POLY so in the morning we will be taking the monorail over to EPCOT, So after the cruise we will be at BC what transportation do we take to get back to the POLY?? We will not be at Epcot at the end of the cruise so the monorail is out!! I have never done this so I am stumpped!! Is there a bus we can take to the POLY or a boat??HELP!!!!!!!!!!

It might be quickest just to walk back through Epcot from Beach Club and take the monorail to the Poly. There isn't direct resort to resort transportation (except I think a boat between Wilderness & Contemp...?), and Beach Club has bus transportation. Maybe I boat to MGM too -- I can never remember which resorts have those boats! Anyway, you woul have to take a bus (or boat if there is one) from the Beach Club to a park or DTD, and then take whatever transportation is avialble from the park/DTD back to the Poly. Or order a taxi which is kinda expensive.

You know, I thought it would be quick to walk back to Epcot too BUT will they let us back in to the park at that time because the park will be closed?!?!?!

The best way would be to walk back through EPCOT, but you might have a problem as suggested. You can always hop a bus to Downtown Disney, and then over to the Poly, or hope that the Magic Kingdom bus is still running from the Beach Club. It might be worth getting a cab from the Beach Club if the bus to the MK has stopped running. Might cost you $15 to get back, but might save you an hour of time.

Good question.

After our cruise last summer we walked through the Beach Club to the bus stop and got on the first but that came. It ended up being a bus to MK so that worked our great since we were staying at WL. This summer we will be staying at SoG so after our cruise I will also be trying to get back to the Poly. I think we will try again for a MK bus, however, if a DD bus comes first that may be a sign (I look for those in life) that I need to shop a little.

We will have 9 in our group so I hate to do 2 cabs--too costly. LOL, that sounds funny after spending $120 plus tip for the cruise. The MK is open until 10pm our entire week so it will be iffy getting a bus from the BC at 9:45ish but that is my plan right now. It worked last summer so I am planning to do the same thing.


I hope you enjoy your cruise, we loved it last summer, it was worth the money. Last summer I bought glow bracelets and necklaces at a party store and my DS had so much fun with them on the cruise. This time I bought 50 bracelets on line for the same price I paid for 5 in a party store. Just a thought.

I looked at this title and was totally expecting something different!
I'm glad it wasn't about actually "getting around" in wdw, I mean I know PI is good for singles, but at Epcot, wow!
Ok I know that didn't help, but to a corrupt young college kid, you know how it looks! lol
