Information on Stitch's Great Escape

I read this on Mouse Planet today,

…There will be a mini-press event for the Stitch's Great Escape attraction on June 26. It is unknown at this time whether it will be a preview showing of the attraction or if something else will be going on.

I hope they do a "soft opening" so we can get a full report from Park Hopper or another local Dcer. I am really looking forward to this attraction and can't wait to hear more about it.

I'll be there on the 27th. DOes this mean they will have the ride open on the 26th? Thus, I will be able to ride it when I'm there? Or is it only a one day thing? Could you post the link to the article so I can read it?

I am crossing my fingers that it is open by September!!! It is always fun to have a new ride to look forward to!!!

I am hoping for it to be open by September. It would be so awesome to be able to ride it before anyone else I know does. Fingers crossed!

Im hoping they do a pre opening type of thing in august like they did last year for mission space.

Yes!!! we were there in August when they were running M:S!! so I am hoping too that they have Stitch open in August

hey thanks! Wasn't alien encounter a pretty recent addition? I guess it wasn't popular enough, it was pretty cheesey.

its been open several years and always had a pretty good line .. in fact it was a FP attraction .. I remember after it first opened they closed it because it wasnt scary enough but I have to admit .. I never came home disappointed if I didnt get around to going to it. I do get upset if I miss COP or Small World *grumbling about Small world being closed*

I agree, we definitely thought once was enough for Alien Encounter. We went on it shortly after it opened and never went on it again. We're looking forward to the Stitch ride, too (DS is going through a major Stitch phase right now!). Unfortunately we'll be there in mid-June, so it looks like we'll miss it this year. It'll definitely be something to look forward to on the next trip!
