My DH and I have a couple of things that we MUST do each time we visit a certain park.
At MK, since we were married there nearly 5 years ago, every time we visit, the very FIRST thing we do is walk to the pavillion to the right of the castle where we exchanged vows, look each other in the eye and say..."I still do". (makes the kids ill , but hey!)At MGM, we love RnR, and each time we ride we must roll our hands across the door leading to the "recording studio". The one that is made up of marbles. Makes a cool sound At Epcot, we make a habit out of going to Ice Station Cool and watching the unsuspecting taste BEVERLY! The expressions on some people's faces is worth the price of admission!Haven't come up with one for AK yet. So what's your WDW ritual??

Re: Do you have a Disney ritual?
I am sure that we have tons that we don't even realize.
We always try to change it up quite a bit. However, we always take a few slower moments and go to Downtown Disney and run in the fountains. My kids love it. ![]()

Re: Do you have a Disney ritual?
My husband MUST go to Downtown Disney to the Lego store and Have his picture taken with the lego guy on the bench. He thinks this is so funny!
(I love how a 30 year old man can be reduced to a 3 year old and not even know it! It's one of the reasons why I am madly in love with him!) Catfish...That is the sweetest thing "I still Do". Your kids may be sick now but as adults they will always remember how much in love their parents were. You are a wonderful mom to be able to set such a positive example of a healthy relationship. You just don't see that much anymore. Lisa ![]()

Re: Do you have a Disney ritual?
At Epcot: My husband and I have to kiss right in the middle of the bridge between UK and France exactly at dusk, while the sunlight is still good, but the gas lights have been turned on!
At MGM: We get sprayed by the walkers at ST after we ride, have a Poinsettia cocktail at Brown Derby, and visit that little brown house at the entrance to the park... the one that sells movie posters. We've never bought anything there, but we always go in! At AK: We go on at least one early morning safari while all the animals are active, get a huge cinnamon roll at Tusker House and eat it while we sit for an hour waiting for the kids to finally leave the Bone Yard. At MK: We avoid the Teacups!!!

Every time I visit the Magic Kingdom, I pay my respects to the man and the mouse at the "Partners" memorial.

Re: Do you have a Disney ritual?
1. On our first night in WDW we always start our vacation off with dinner at Ohana's.
2. We always make it a point to throw coins in King Neptune's fountain in Italy. 3. The last one is really silly & you really had to be there but when we 1st visited WDW for our honeymoon in 1995....I video recorded my husband in our hotel room when we 1st got there & in the video I asked him where we were & in a real goofy voice he said Caribbean....Trinidad & then he growled....it was really funny so now every time we check in at our resort, I video him & ask where we are & he does it the same way. We just loves to watch our videos & see how silly he is!

Re: Do you have a Disney ritual?
I'm with you Skwak - we probably have many that we don't even realize! The one thing we like to do, though, is to have a late dinner at Chef Mickey's on our last night. We feel this sends us home with a happy feeling.

Re: Do you have a Disney ritual?
We always go to WDW the first weekend in October (been doing it since our honeymoon in 1999)
We always attend MVMCP the first weekend in Dec (been doing it since1995) WDW - First stop - Buzz Lightyear. Always have a burger at Pecos Bills DTD - right off the bus and into the Christmas store, just to smell the air. We always get a dessert and a jug of milk before going to the room at night and enjoy it in bed. We always buy Jelly Bellys, rice krispie treats and WDW Fudge to take home.

Re: Do you have a Disney ritual?
See Muppets 3D at least twice! I once saw it 3 times in one day, I can never get sick of it even if it isnt the best 3D show visually anymore, it still is very funny and has alot of heart.

Re: Do you have a Disney ritual?
My DD and I have just a few rituals. We start and end our trip every time in MGM riding our favorite, RnR. We go straight to MGM after checking-in on our arriving day, go throgh the turnstyle and practically run to RnR. Our trip officially starts with the Steve Tyler contdown.....3-2-1 and take off into the loop. I can feel goosebumps as my mind finally comrpehends that I am "home". We do the same thing on check-out day. This makes us end our trip on a happy note. We all know how hard it is to leave and this makes it a bit easier. We also have one meal in our room whether it be pizza, food court or room service. We have a girlie night acting goofy, watching TV and just being together. The nght before we leave, my DD gets to go to the kids club while I pack. Pelase note this little ritual will be ending before I know it...she turns 11 a few short weeks after our next trip. I can't see her wanting to hang with the wee ones much longer. As much as this breaks my Mommy heart, we can alwasy make new rituals.
