Re: Dino Whirl

Primeval Whirl is at leats 48" tall to ride.
Dinosaur is at least 40" tall to ride.
I know that look of disappointment all to well when they turn your little one away.

How old is she? My son's tall enough, but he's only 5 (tall for his age) and I'm wondering if he'll be mature and brave enough to handle these rides. He's typically not a big thrill seeker, but of course right now he's saying he wants to go on everything!

Re: Dino Whirl

My son missed it by a finger also. He was 5. I think your son will be okay. The year before that we went to Disneyland he was only 4 and he rode Space Mountain and loved it. Last year at Disneyworld his favorite ride was Misson Space My wife and I did not care for that ride we did not fell so well after wards. I bet your son will get on the Primeval Whirl. Just give him a little encouragment.

Shes also 5.....BUT she is a thrill seeker!!!! The faster the better!!!!! Which is so funny, because she won't do the HM or TOT!!!!! Because of 2 words....Haunted and Terror!!!!!! The CM at RNR even told her that if she could do that ride, she could do every ride at Disney!!! I too say let him try the rides he wants to. Just remember all those "fast" attractions are over so quick, so if he is scared, it will be done fast!!!! He may just surprise you!!!

Re: Dino Whirl

My 3 year old is also a thrill seeker and a little tall for her age. She rode the TOT this year and loved it! She was very disappointed that she could not get on the RNR and the PW! Maybe next time.

O.K., we'll let him try and see how he does (if he doesn't chicken out when we get there ). Thanks to everyone for all your feedback on this!

Re: Dino Whirl

I think PW is fairly tame as far as coasters go, although it was my experience that the right side was far more jerky and bumpy than the left side...just keep that in mind.
