How long do you think?
We have been to WDW 2 times (only 8 days total). Every time I look at WDW guides, I see lots of rides and/or attractions that we missed or did not have time to do.
1) How long do you think it would take to see all attractions and shows? 2) How long if you add in to tour all the resorts and try all the restaurants? Do you think it could ever be done? ![]()

Re: How long do you think?
It would take pretty long to see and do everything at WDW especially if you want to see each and every resort. My DD and I went for six days in January and even though we had very light crowds, we still did not see everything in the parks. This to me is a good thing becasue I have something to look forward to next time. We have made a total of 4 trips together and have stayed at a different resort each time and still have not managed to see everything to give you an idea of how long it would take. Our trips average between 5 and 6 days each. We do, however, usually have more than enough time to do everything that we want to do. Last trip we never got to see Spectro or Wishes, but that will be the first thing on our list for this trip. The year before we didn't see Stars and Motorcars and Fantasmic!, bu that was our first priority for last trip...it works out. Our 1/04 trip was our first time to actually go to Epcot and we haven't even put a dent in that park yet. We are scheduling a day and a half to get all the things we missed there. We also usually skip AK, but intend to take a day at that park too. If you also factor in the water parks, DTD PI and marketplace, and the sports complex...it could take years to finally see everything. That is the great part of going to WDW. You can have a unigue experience each trip and still manage to miss things...lol I love it!

Re: How long do you think?
WOW to do it all would take a very long time. Especially when you consider how many restaurants and resort there are! I would think a month at the least in the slow season, say January for instance. And then I'm not even sure you would make it to everything!!!! I wish I could go do the research for us all just to find out, now that would be a great job.

Re: How long do you think?
I have to agree with Dana. You could absolutely exhaust yourself trying to see everything. I think 7 days is a good time frame. I think that a good idea is to get a good guide book and read it thoroughly. There are always going to be things at WDW that you won't be interested in seeing. Go through the book and eliminate them. (for instance, we're past the "Mickey's Toon Town Fair" stage). Don't bother visiting resorts whose themes don't hold any appeal for you and if you hate Italian food (just using this as an example), don't go to Alfredo's. I guess what I'm trying to say is that pre- planning a WDW trip is probably the most effecient time and money saving way to enjoy WDW when you finally get there.

Re: How long do you think?
Well, I've been to WDW 17 times since 1985, and there are still tons of things I have never seen or done. But I think that's a good thing. There is always something new for me to experience. I hope I never get to the point where I've done every last thing there. I look forward to the new stuff.

Re: How long do you think?
I think that at least 7 day are needed to see all of the parks are a decent pace during the off season. During the busy season at least 14 days. The only resorts that you need to see are Wilderness Lodge, The Poly, Grand Floridian, AK lodge, and the Beach Club. To eat at all the sit down places you will need at least a month. With over 50 sit down places, that 3 per day and a lot of money. You couldn't do it in one shot. We been there over 29 times and stii haven't eaten at every place.

I agree. At least 3 months (if not more). That is what keeps it from getting boring - always something new to do or see.

Re: How long do you think?
WOW!!!! A complete "round the world tour"!!! I truly do not think that it could be done. There will always be some character greeting that you miss, or some small side thing. I think that in order to get a good grip on most things I would say 12 days. That is 8 days total at the parks, and that is going at a very slow pace. That gives you four days to explore resorts. One day could be deluxe, the next two days for moderates and Home Away From Home's , and then the Values.

Re: How long do you think?
I think it's virtually impossible to do it all. Seeing every single thing in every theme park would be a monumental task in itself, but then throw in all the restaurants, water parks, Downtown Disney, Boardwalk, resorts, etc., etc., and you'd be trying to accomplish a staggering feat.
For example, DW and I visited at least one WDW park a total of 40 times for the 12-month period that ended yesterday when we renewed our annual passes. If you add in the times we visited multiple parks on the same day, the figure climbs much higher. The previous year, we each had 32 visits. But even though we spend that much time at WDW, we haven't come close to seeing it all or doing it all. Sure, we have our favorites that we always do, but we also don't have any trouble always coming up with new things that we've yet to experience. I just don't think it's possible to do it all, especially if you're talking about a methodical death-march approach.

Re: How long do you think?
I agree with Llama... Get a good guide book and pick out the things that really interest you. But I would take as long as possible there... if you have 2 weeks to spend I would. but that is just me... I go every chance I get and we make many day trips.. and would not miss a one.

Re: How long do you think?
When I originally asked this question, we were not trying to decide how long to stay and be sure not to miss anything. I know you can't see everything in a trip.
I was just wondering if you had unlimited time and money, how long it would take to see everything or if it could be done. I think it would take months, at least.
