Re: Never been
Maybe you can talk your parents in to a family vacation to WDW. Like the others said, once you go, it won't be your last trip!

Re: Never been
Are you a senior this year or next? Most schools have a senior trip to WDW...maybe you will. If not, maybe start saving up now and you can take a trip there with a few friends.

Re: Never been
you should plan a future trip, ghostrider. you'll have a wonderful time. i bet reading all of our messages gives you plenty of ideas on what wdw is like, right? don't be shy when it comes to questions. also, don't feel embarassed that you have never been to wdw. you have nothing to be ashamed of. this is an excellent source on all the information you need when it comes time to plan your first trip to wdw. i relied on this site heavely for my second trip. also, if you do plan a trip, you should pick up the birnbaum book for wdw. it is very helpful and informative.

Re: Never been
The hotels on-property all provide trasnportation to the parks for free. The furthest travel time is about 25min give or take. Tragic it is. I should adopt you for a week and take you with me and my DD and now my DBF and his son. There is nothing as magical as taking a first timer to WDW.

Re: Never been
Hey Ghostrider...go to www.allearsnet.com and check out the menus, hotels, and park information. Also, to see a great collection of photos of the parks and resorts, go to Suite disney by clicking here http://www.suitedisney.com/id24.htm and click on the areas you want to see in the left column.

Re: Never been
It isn't just breakfast you can eat with the characters at the garden grill and Crystal palace you can have lunch and dinner with them and at the Liberty tree tavern you can have just Dinner with them. My dd, lil brer (who is on this site), absolutely adores doing this. She is not into breakfast and loves having the lunch and dinner meals with the characters.
Not having Disney World in your life thus far is sad, but you can save your money and plan a trip for the future and everyone here at DC can help you to do it with very cost efficient ways and I'll bet you will be able to go and have a terrific trip in no time at all. So, start saving and asking lots of questions to all of us and set a goal in your mind and I'm sure with our help you'll be shaking Mickey's hand in no time.

Re: Never been
I'll bet if you get a summer job (and/or after achool job) and start saving, and by the time you are 18 or 19, you could have enough to have a really cool trip to Disney. Or another possibility is if you decide to go to college you could look into the Disney College program. Here is the link to the Program at the Disney website:
Disney College Program You can talk to several of the people on here about the college program. Some of them, like DownSouthTigger, are recruiters, and some of them, like Rowdy Raider, are College Program members. Rowdy Raider is down at WDW right NOW doing a semester working at WDW in the middle of the magic from MAY to JAN and getting paid for it with all the perks that go with working for Disney. Might be something to look into. There are a lot of options available to someone who is eager to get to the World if you look hard enough. ![]()
