I noticed on the Disney Event Calendar that during my trip they will be hosting the "Tom Joyner Family Reunion at the Walt Disney World® Resort
September 2 - 5, 2004" . Has anyone ever been to Disney during this event and know if the parks are very crowded. Thank you for your help.

Gee, I live in Orlando and didn't even know such a thing existed. Hmmm, maybe that's an indication of how crowded the parks might be because of this event. At any rate, a little research reveals that most of the festivities take place at MGM, and since the event ends just before the Labor Day weekend, you'd probably be OK as far as crowds go. The parks will be quite crowded over the Labor Day weekend, though, and some people attending the Tom Joyner Reunion will no doubt extend their trip over the holiday.

We were ther at CSR last year during this. I think that was the first year. The only reason I even noticed were the guest lanyards they wore, that told us so. I don't think they made too much of an impact. Not worth changing plans for.
