Show I planned for Fantasyland Theatre for my proposed Disney theme park
I now have my show planned out, more or less, for Fantasyland Theatre in my proposed Magic Kingdom park. Since Disneyland's Fantasyland Theatre is currently running a Snow White stage show, I decided on something very different. Also unlike the Snow White show, which focuses on one cartoon and set of characters, my Fantasyland Theatre show will be broken up into three segments, with three different sets of characters. Here is what I have so far:
1.) Opening segment, which will be a comedy type act with the "Big 5" (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto), along with a few other "cartoony" characters; for example, Daisy, Chip and Dale, Roger Rabbit, Darkwing Duck, etc. Since this act doesn't come from any particular cartoon or movie, unlike the following segments, this will be shorter than acts 2 and 3, and will be more like an introductory segment. 2.) Cinderella 3.) Alice in Wonderland The Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland segments will feature songs and scenes from their respective cartoon features. I also did something similar with my Adventureland Theatre show, using a three-segment setup: 1.) The Jungle Book 2.) The Lion King (which may be like an abbreviated version of Festival of the Lion King) 3.) Tarzan If anyone has questions, comments, and/or suggestions, please feel free to post! ![]() |

I love to hear your plans. You have some great ideas there. I wish my imagination was as great as yours. Thanks for sharing them.

Re: Show I planned for Fantasyland Theatre for my proposed Disney theme park
the shows sound great and very creative. but, i think the show for the adventure land would sound better at the AK. are you having an AK? why not for adventure land, you have something like peter pan, aladdin, and maybe even the rescuers. that would be cool to see, especially the rescuers. they're great mice, too, and they do go on adventures. so, it would only be appropriate to have them a part of the show.

Re: Show I planned for Fantasyland Theatre for my proposed Disney theme park
Quote:
Act 1: The Jungle Book Act 2: Aladdin Act 3: Tarzan Act 4: The Lion King As for Peter Pan, I was planning on using that in my Fantasmic! show-- which is similar to Disneyland's which is presented on the Rivers of America. However, mine will have a huge seating area like Disney-MGM's, thus giving guests the best of both worlds! The Peter Pan segment on the Rivers of America is FABULOUS! Much of it takes place on the Sailing Ship Columbia, which doubles as the Jolly Roger. I've watched it online and in a Disneyland video I have. Although my Fantasmic! show will not be a carbon copy of either show, I definitely will include the Peter Pan segment. In fact, I may expand the Pan segment and make it a little longer! I also know that Disney does not like using "face characters" (characters that don't wear a mask over their face) in more than one show in the same park, unless its a multi-character (characters from different cartoons at the same time) gathering like Cinderella's Surprise Celebration on the castle stage. Hope this helps! ![]() |
