Segway Tour, Epcot

I recently made reservations to go on the ?Segway? tour. You get to ride on a "Segway" (the futuristic vehicle, that you stand on and go forward, backward and turns just by moving your body slightly in that direction, if you have been to Epcot before you probably saw cast members ridding around on them selling souvenirs) , you go on a tour of world showcase prior to opening , form 9 - 11am. If you have a Disney Visa, DVC, or AP you can get 15% off the price, it cost $80 pp, with the discount $68, yes it is a little pricey. But I have always wanted to ride a "Segway" and at what better place then at DW, so I felt it was worth it.

I would love to have a Segway but I will probably stick to a pair of shoes, a bike, or my car.

The segway tour sounds cool and I want to try it one year. Possibly next year, but not when we go in Oct., because we will have too much other stuff to do and I want to plan it in. We are already going on the train tour at MK this year.

You know,that's not a bad idea. I'll have a bit more time to slim down. The only thing is,I wanted to make it really special and stay at the Poly and March is peak season. Oh well,we've got time to think about that,don't we?

Don't give up a Off-peak trip to the Poly for me....the Poly would be too sweet in January!!! So, even if we don't get together for the segway tour, maybe we can catch up for an evening at Illuminations or Fantasmic.

We did see the CM's riding these around Innoventions when we were there a few weeks ago. I didn't know you could arrange to ride them, I didn't see any roaming anywhere else around Epcot. That sounds like a really neat experience. I would love to see World Showcase that early before the crowds hit. It should be beautiful!
