Att: Seasonal Pass Holders

I dont know if it is only certain seasonal pass holders or all of the seasonal pass holders...but my parents got a letter in the mail from disney saying they were changing the black-out period dates. Typically, the black-out period is all of July through August 19th. The letter says that they lifted it and her passes are not blacked out now for that time period. So they can go anytime between now and whenever the winter black-out period begins.

I am anxious to see if we also get a letter changing our black-out dates. Anyone else know about this???

The black out dates were always the same as school hoildays. Now most school districts in FL are starting back within the first 2 weeks of Aug. I know this year we start Aug 16, in 2005 it will be Aug 8. On that same line, school will be getting out in early June, late May. I would think that they may just begin the black out dates earlier then in the past.

I haven't gotten a letter yet.

I called disney. As of yesterday they lifted the black-out dates for seasonal pass holders. We can now go anytime from now until Dec 17th.

YEAH!!! DH and I have reg APs but my DS(5) has the season pass. We got the post card yesterday telling us about the early lift of the blackouts. Now we can take him and DD(2) BEFORE school starts!!! So you are also saying that he can go around ThanksGiving? I wasnt sure if that was blacked out but that would be good too.

WOW!!! This is great to know!!! I need to activate my Seasonal Passes..downgraded from AP's this May...it would be perfect to make a day trip this weekend before my ds starts school on Tuesday!!
