Re: Annual Passholders Take A Hit From Disney

I will quit buying an annual pass the minute they quit giving us free parking, though there are ways around that.

Oh,and Park Hopper,at first I thought that free parking was being taken away from us Ap'ers. Please don't scare me like that again!!!

I don't know if it's permanent or not. Disney hasn't indicated one way or the other, but you can bet if it gets more people in the parks Disney will do it again.

Re: Annual Passholders Take A Hit From Disney

I think that it will be just this year....I dont see them cutting back the days for SP's next year. I DO think that next year the black out days will change. I know in our FL county...school starts this Tuesday!! Therefore the "summer" is already over!!! Maybe next year they will start the black out days earlier than this year. I dont know how I"d feel if we still had AP's...we just downgraded to SP's! I do know that i'm very happy we'll be able to sneak in a day trip before school starts now! This will be the first time we have to PAY for parking...thats where I"m going to miss having the AP's!!!

Re: Annual Passholders Take A Hit From Disney

You might try what we do... I have an AP and my DH has a SP... that way the parking is paid for and also you get put in two different contest to win the AP or SP in the Mickey Monitor.. I know this is changing the subject a little but I have not received a Mickey Monitor since I renewed my AP has anyone else been getting them... Does anyone know if they have discontinued them?.... šošJudy

I got mine a few days ago. What you have to do,Judy,is call the AP number and tell them you haven't received it and demand that they send you one.

Disney seems to have a problem with keeping passholders on the Mickey Monitor mailing list when they've renewed. It's happened to us twice, and my in-laws once. As mickaholic said, just give them a call and have them make sure you're on the mailing list and request that they send you the latest edition.

Mickey Monitor also is now available for viewing/printing on the passholder Web site. You can choose either the current issue or the previous issue. Disney has been having technical difficulties with the passholder site for the last few days, but submit your passholder info several times in a row if you get rejected the first time.

Thanks Park Hopper, Now at least I can look at MM. And I had no problems getting into the site.
