Icon4 My Great Movie Ride scenes (so far) from my proposed Disney Studios theme park

As many of you already know, I have been working on a mock proposal for a new Disney theme park resort here on DisneyCentral and on WDWMagic. Most of you probably remember that I planned two theme parks for my resort to open around the same time, or shortly after for my Disney Studios theme park. (the first is the Magic Kingdom, similar to WDW's MK and Disneyland)

I have been thinking about the motion picture scenes for my Great Movie Ride, which will be the centerpiece of my Disney Studios theme park much like Beauty and the Beast Castle is to my Magic Kingdom theme park. So far, the only scenes I can think of which will remain the same are The Wizard of Oz and Singing In the Rain. Fantasia will be longer, with a somewhat longer sequence with Mickey as The Sorcerer's Apprentice, and maybe another short scene or two. For the other Fantasia scenes (which will be consierably shorter that The Sorcerer's Apprentice), I was leaning towards one of the two Nutcracker scenes; possibly either The Chinese Dance with the mushrooms or The Russian Dance with the thistles-- or possibly even both! Here are a couple of midi files of these songs:
Chinese Dance: http://www.kidsdomain.com/holiday/xm...n/nut5chin.mid
Russian Dance: http://www.diskuspublishing.com/russian.mid

Mary Poppins will remain as well, but with a completely different scene. Disney-MGM's ride uses the Chim Chim Cher-ee scene, whereas mine will use the Supercalafragilisticexpialadocious musical number scene from Mary Poppins. Here is a midi file, in case you're not familiar with the song, and for your listening enjoyment even it you are!

As for the other scenes, not sure yet. However, I will replace the Hollywood Musical scene from Disney-MGM's GMR. Disney-MGM's ride has the By a Waterfall musical number from Footlight Parade (1933). In its place, my GMR will use the We're In the Money musical number scene from Gold Diggers of 1933. Here is a URL with song lyrics and an attached midi file:

If anyone has questions, comments, and/or suggestions, please feel free to post!

Re: My Great Movie Ride scenes (so far) from my proposed Disney Studios theme park

i thought of a couple of famous movie scenes that you can add to your ride: one i would personally love to see is a scene from my favorite Marilyn Monroe movie, "The Seven Year Itch" where she is standing on the subway grate and the wind blows up her skirt.
i thought of a scene from "The Godfather" that would be appropriate for the little ones. it's been a long time since i saw the movie so you have to bare with me: the famous line that Marlon Brando (R.I.P) says, "I'll make you an offer you can't refuse" or something like that. that would be cool to see.
i would also like to see a scene from "Forrest Gump" where he's sitting on the bench with the box of chocolates and says, "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."
that's all i can think of right now. if i come up with more scenes, i'll let you know.
