Star Wars Weekend?
Generally, when does this take place? Is it overly crowded at that time? What exactly is it? I think this is something my husband would love.

Unfortunately, you just missed Star Wars Weekends for 2004. They're held during several weekends in May and June and are sort of a Disney-style grand celebration of the famous movies. They take place at MGM, where they have guest appearances by Star Wars celebrities. You'll also find Star Wars characters roaming the park. There's lots of exclusive Star Wars merchandise, too. I would have LOVED to be there on a Star Wars weekend. I'm a huge fan. This is me in Feb/March at MGM

That was cool. Thanks so much. My husband is such a Star Wars freak (and I have to admit it is rubbing off on me too!). We named our first dog Chewie after Chewbacca!

We're not big fans, but I love the original movie!!! We were there during the Star Wars weekend this year and it was fun. They had stormtroopers standing above the entrance to MGM in the morning when we arrived. We had pictures taken with Jedi Mickey and when we came out, an ewok looking character wanted to trade pins w/ my DS. So, of course they traded pins in sign language. It was pretty neat.
