Boardwalk Villas?

I'm planning on staying at the boardwalk villas the end of Sept/ early Oct. Can anyone tell me which room I should request for a good view? Is there any rooms that are too noisy? I'll be with 2 small kids and I need a quiet room. I've also heard that you need to stay near the elevators. Are there only one elevator per floor and is the elevator that far away? What are some of the nicest things about Boardwalk Villas?

Thanks for your help! Shelley

Sorry, I have looked everywhere for my boardwalk room layout, and I can't find it. I will have to pick one up next visit. Last time we stayed there, we were on the top floor, and overlooked the boardwalk. It was the next to last room, so we were basically over where jellyrolls is. We had a great view, couldn't hear the boardwalk at all, and loved every minute of it. It was a long walk to our room, but wasn't more than about a minute. There is one set of elevators, and they are right in the middle.

I would just call up and request a room on the third or fourth floor, with a view of the boardwalk and as close to the elevators as possible. Even if you are a bit down the hall, you will get a better view, so it will be a good tradeoff.

I love the Boardwalk Villas mostly for their convenience. They are within walking distance of EPCOT and Disney-MGM, there is also boat transportation to both parks, and there are seven or eight restaurants within walking distance, plust the ones in the park. There are also entertainers and performers on the boardwalk at night. It is a fun place to hang out for a liitle while before bed. The rooms are also very nice, and the pool is great for kids.

make sure you get a room near the elevator, I made that mistake and with 2 small kids the last thing you need is a long walk back to your room after a long day at the parks. I found the rooms a little noisy , but it never bothered the kids or my wife. Great hotel and great views.
