undefinedWe have only been to typhoon lagoon and absolutely loved it!!!Especially the wave pool, shark encounter and of course the lazy river. My family wants to go back there, should I try to talk them into trying BB? We will only have one day to do a water pk. Thanks a bunch.

Re: Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon
My DW and I prefer Blizzard Beach. It has a wave pool but the waves are gentler. Lazy River is nice. This time we go I'm going on the Summit Plummet!!
It's best to get there in the morning.

Re: Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon
We liked BB better than TL with it having alot more slides and you can't beat Summit Plummet. The wave pool is better at TL but that is all it has on BB we think. BB also has a great smaller kids area if you have kids under 3.

Agreed....I pick BB. It's awesome. Typhoon Lagoon is nice, but BB has more slides and to me is just a lot more fun and somewhere I can spend a lot more time.

Re: Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon
I must vote for Typhoon Lagoon. We've always had a great time there. But I might be biased - I'm not even interested in looking at FAKE snow, when I have to deal with so much of the real stuff most of the winter. I have heard that BB is more about the slides, than TL.

Re: Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon
I totally agree about the snow thing. I think we might stick with TL. My kids are 7 and 9 and I think that the amount of slids that TL provided was appropriate. Plus, I think they would want to go on the little kids part. Thanks a bunch guys!

Re: Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon
They are both awesome, where else in this world can you visit such incredibly themed water parks, and so lush....
I would suggest seeing BB for yourselves, seeing as you have done Tl already. You may like one over the other, but should enjoy both! Best BB moment: laying on a lounge chair, with my pillow (from our resort) on New Years Day (now you know why I brought the pillow) And just knowing at home it was 11 degrees. What better way to start the new year!

Re: Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon
We went to both parks twice on our last stay. We really enjoyed TL over BB. We thought there was more to do as a family. I thought the theming at BB was better than TL though. Either one you choose, they are both fun.

Re: Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon
TL is more relaxing and BB is great if your into slides and a workout. We like TL better .... just enough excitement and I think it is great watching the people in the wave pool who have never seen a wave get slammed. Watch out though as my wife and I have caught flying children in the Wave Pool who's parents do not suspect the force of the big waves when they come in. Get there early and spend the day .... a great break from the parks.
