We made it back
It was a long and fun trip and we finally made it home safe and sound......and only one day later than planned. I must say we couldnt have had a better trip down there and the week was perfect until the last day when our flight was cancelled.......oh and word to the wise NEVER stay at the Royal Plaza hotel, and alway use quicksilver because they made our lives soooooo much easier and they were so understanding when we needed them to drive us to Tampa instead of the orlando airport!!!!!!!!!!

We have always enjoyed the Royal Plaza in the past. This was before our children were born, and we always used the Entertainment Club card for 50% off. But like I said that was 6 years ago. Looking forward to your Trip report!

Welcome home! I, too, am curious about the Royal Plaza. We stayed there one night last year. It wasn't exciting, but it was ok. Fill us in. Looking forward to your trip report.

i dont recommend Royal Plaza becuase they were the rudest people when we got there. When we got up to the desk i gave her our names and she looked into the computer and she couldn't find them.....mind you I had called about 2 weeks before and they said that everything was all set. Well apparently they had 200 rooms damaged in hurricane charley and they never bothered to call and tell anyone about it. So she tells us that we are getting sent over to the Best Western across the street. You can believe we werent very happy at all. We got right on the phone with our travel agent because they didnt give us any option and they wouldn't give us any money back. I understand that they couldn't control the hurricane but the fact that it was over 12 days before we got there and that we made reservations 8 months before and we were never told anything about it.
