MVMCP: Veteran Advice on Pics?

The one constant I've heard about MVMCP is that there are long lines to get pics. Do any of the MVMCP veterans have any advice on how to get pics without waiting too long?

1.) How many picture stations are there and where are they?
2.) How early do they open and how late do they stay open?
3.) Are certain line longer than others?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Last year there were photo stations at Liberty Square, Adventureland Fantasyland (by It's a Small World)and Tomorrowland (at the Timekeeper). I believe they open when the gates open and are open till almost closing. We usually do the photo first, when we are still fresh.

Re: MVMCP: Veteran Advice on Pics?

There is a picture station up front to the left of the flag poll (next to the fire-station I think). We got our picture on the way in. There was a short line because everyone was heading to the rides and parades spots.

Your mileage may differ.

LOL. That's a great phrase.

Well, my car is supposed to get 24 in the city and 31 on the highway and I'm AVERAGING about 32-33 (over 35 in the summer), so hopefully that bodes well for me when trying to get pictures.

My Jeep is suppose to get 16/18...I get more like 14/20. Luck me I can walk to most of the stuff around town (accept when it we are knee deep in snow or rain -- then the Jeep is happy )

My advice is always look for the tucked away picture locations and get there early on...and level three snow alerts don't apply to Jeep owners.

I just wish folks around New England (who didn't grow up here) realized that even in 4WD, you can't drive fast on icy roads.

I grew up in MI driving on rear wheel drive cars (nova SS -- believe it or not it was my my grandfather which got passed to me when he passed on)...only ditched once. I was known for being able to do a full doughnut in the middle of a street never loosing forward momentum (not that I tried to do it but I could recover pretty fast). Yes I was an idiot kid driver.

Now I drive like an old lady (no offense)...

Re: MVMCP: Veteran Advice on Pics?

Ok I will sum it up:

Drive your way to the head of the picture line at MVMCP by get your picutre taken early in the evening and by finding a little traveled picture spot...but don't drive to fast or else you might end up in a ditch and have to wait for Tigger to pull you out with his Jeep

I went to a picture spot in Adventure land about 1 hour into the party and only waited about 5 minutes.
