When will It's a small world reopen?

Hey wuz up everyone. My friend recommended me to you. I am the biggest Disney fan in south florida and can't wait to get really into this site. What is the latest on it's a small world reopening?

I don't believe that there's a date set, but as far as I know, they are targeting early May 2005.

you can check it out on www.wdwig.com and see if an actual date is listed or just go to www.disneyworld.com to see if they have a date. as far as i know, it won't be opened until Spring of '05.

Wow, you know I have a totally new perspective on that ride now that I know it was originally designed to benefit UNICEF. I used to despise it (of course, appreciating still the adorable dolls and their cute costumes) because of the insanity my mind would suffer for that song going around in my head for hours on end. But now I think it is sweet because of its history.

Never, I hope. My DH and I hate this ride. We just there last week (before Jeanne) and took a picture of the Closed for Refurbishment sign for our photo album!

Sounds like they are redesigning the whole entrance. As well as the audio part of the attraction, not sure to what extent...anyone know?

"It's a small world" - MAJOR REHAB,5/1/04 - 3/18/2005

The Magic Kingdom will be closing "It's A Small World" for a Major overhaul. The rehab will take almost a full year, and is expected to result in a fantastic look, including new boats and more. Disney is also promising newer and better show elements, and a redesigned entrance area. Originally scheduled to close in June, Small World will go down on the first of May, a bit earlier than anticipated, due to earlier than expected completion of the Snow White rehab. Small World is not scheduled to reopen until March of next year.
