ºoº Last year was a lot fun to actually see all the different Founders of all the great Disney web sites and all the authors of the great Disney books.

ºoº Also to meet everyone that you see on the different web sites in person at the different Walt Disney World Parks.

ºoº Here is a tenative list of all the things that are going on at the 2004 Mousefest. I'll update them as more information comes out.

If you have two free hours on Saturday afternoon on December 11, 2004 from one to three, then try to come to the Mega-Mousefest meet at the Swan Resort. It is free (as are most of the meets), and here is a tentative list and schedule of all those Disney Disney website founders and Disney authors that will be there for you to meet. It was great last year with over 300 Disney loving people at the Mega-Mouse Meet alone. So come to this once in a lifetime event.

But don't worry. Most meets only have 10 to 20 people each. And last year their were only about a 100 at the MVMCP out of a possible 20,000 MVMCP tickets sold.

Everyone from different web sites try to come to the Mousefest Mega-Mouse Meet at the Swan Resort on Saturday, December 11, 2004. Last year we had 300. Let's make a list of DISers that may come.

We are going to be there on land and on Sea. We do not know what we will attend, but will play it by EAR. We were going to do the Fantasmic Dessert party, but we realized this summer our little DS is not liking the Fireworks. He was fine last October on the Illumination Cruise, but not this year.
Looking forward to bumping into some familiar names while there!

Dennis, we 'walked into' Illuminations one night - the beginning spiel set my daughter into a perfect "that's not so bad" mood with the opening set of pyrotechnics. (she freaked out by them before hand at the mere mention of them) By the end of the night, she'd finally gotten over her fear. I wrote about it in a trip report a long time ago. It was a very surreal night. I hope he'll outgrow them.

I know they had about 300 Mousefest attendees last year, Den, and they're expecting more than that this year. That's a lot of internet folks, but as far as Disney goes, it's a mere drop in the bucket...attendance-wise.

There are members from other countries, but mostly that would be the UK and Canada.

ºoº :wave: Hi, ddoll and Den. Thanks for answering Den's question, ddoll. Most of the mini-meets are small. And many will be going to different parks on different days depending on their length of stay. I have read where many are going on different MVMCP nights, too. But there is one big meet at about 15 minutes before the MVMCP special Wishes fireworks on December 9th in the Rose Garden area. But that will probably be less than a hundred people reading about Mousefest. I think the largest events will be the Mousefest Mega-Mouse Meet at the Swan Resort on December 11th. Probably 300 or more. And ddoll, I'm sorry about that. Is it alright to post it? I was asked by several people to remove there meets. I'll put it back right now. Please let me know if you want your meets on or off this particular list. And certainly let me know if their are any mistakes or corrections to be made. I usually update from the three main meets lists.
