Wanna hear a secret?
When my family and I go to the Living seas, we go to the side where the elevators are. This allows us to skip the movie at the beginning and just go to the best part, the aquariums!!! This is how you do it and you have to be sly, quick, and well...careful.
1. Go to the elevators and just wait around by them. 2. When one opens up to let people out, just hop in before the doors close again. 3. The doors will simply close behind you and open up again to the aquarium side. (THIS IS A FUNNY PART BECAUSE PEOPLE LOOK AT YOU FUNNY WHEN YOU ARE COMING IN AS THEY ARE GOING OUT...hehehe) 4. Enjoy the fish! Warning: Beware of Janitors, who sometims are out there by the elevators to keep an eye on things. If they ask you what you are doing, just tell them that you forgot something and heard that this was the fastest way back in. That is at least what I did and she bought it. Hope this helps...and feel special, I rarely tell people this secret! ![]()

Re: Wanna hear a secret?
That is just TOO FUNNY!!!
I've actually contemplated that once or twice, but I'm just not all that impressed enough with Living Seas to really care. We didn't even go over there last trip and I doubt we'll go there in December. Talk about an exhibit that is in DESPERATE need of an update......

Re: Wanna hear a secret?
Thanks for the tip. I will have to try this one. Last trip my DD and I spent well over an hour in there. She loved it and I loved watching her enjoy it. It does need a bit of updating, but my DD didn't even care or notcie that.

Re: Wanna hear a secret?
As of December 2003, they offered a choice at the initial holding pen (via the Great Disembodied Voice), to go thru the doors at the right to see the movie, or thru the left to go straight onto the Aqualators (or whatever they're called!) and into the aquarium area. Is that what you're talking about? We remember noticing that they seemed to have stamped kosher the shortcut that people had already been making use of (we used to 'sneak' thru there too)! We were like, way to adapt, Disney --work *with* people, rather than against...Like incorporating the "shortcut paths" into the landscaping of a park as they develop, rather than constantly trying to reseed them, you know?

Re: Wanna hear a secret?
When Living Seas first opened, they always offered people the option of the movie (watching that rolling surf was enough to put you to sleep) or heading straight to the acquariums. Of course, that was when they had that great little train (the only real fun part of the whole place) I agree with Matt - no other pavillion needs an update as much as this one. Since we always allocate one day for Sea World, we just don't bother to do Living Seas anymore.

Re: Wanna hear a secret?
For those who do not know...they recently added a Friends of Nemo section which holds every thing from clownfish like Nemo and Marlin to Stingrays like Mr. Ray. It is pretty neat to see and one of the coolest parts is a tank of Jellyfish. Those who haven't seen this exhibit yet, check it out...it is worth it!
