WDW and Jeanne
Chack out what is going on at WDW in Jeanne's Wake and how people who are actually there have fared by going to Allearnet.com. They have the latest scoop and the best information for those who want to stay in the know. Here's the link.
Allearsnet - Jeanne Updates Also check out this story from Local 6 in Orlando. This really shows the power of a Hurricane. I hope this guy was all right. Hurricane Jeanne packs a punch

Re: WDW and Jeanne
OMG! That poor man! Blown off the ground. I hope is is healing and doing better now.
Sounds like Epcot's Living Seas took a little damage.... hope this is the last of the hurricanes. Florida has had enough abuse to last them a lifetime. Thanks for the links and updates lawwin.

Re: WDW and Jeanne
Thanks for the links. I am wondering what kind of damage Living Seas saw. I hope it is enough to make them rehab it. I have to say I am a diehard Epcot fan, but I hate with a passion The Living Seas. They need to bring those cool cars back LOL.

Re: WDW and Jeanne
Those pictures are cool!!! I always wondered if they really do take the castle apart for hurricanes. So many people have said they do. Now I know the truth!!!

Re: WDW and Jeanne
IM looking forward to seeing if anyone send pics from the parks so we can see any damage there. Personally I always wanted to ride out a hurricane in the Contemporary Tower...just seems like the coolest place to do it! We had some bad weather here, but we're alright...

Re: WDW and Jeanne
I think I will be going to Epcot one day next week. I agree that Living Seas is the most boring thing there....the ride was absolutely the best part and I have never understood why they took it out.

Re: WDW and Jeanne
Thought everyone might want to check out the local orlando 6 site for updates on how the area has fared. They have had some pictures on there from WDW. I don't know if any are on there right now. They are in the slideshow on hurricane Jeanne. It is a really neat picture of one of the buildings at the Yacht Club losing some shingles. Check it out. Here is the link.

Re: WDW and Jeanne
Well, those were totally depressing. DH and I were going to do some house hunting in the Orlando area this weekend. I guess we'll see which houses are still standing.

Re: WDW and Jeanne
Sorry, I didn't mean to depress you. I was trying to be informational. After all, I'm going to be there this weekend, too. It should be interesting.
