Based on Disney's Calendar, the Spectra-Magic show (I still prefer to call it the Electric Light Parade even though it was Main Street Electrical Parade, hee; why did they change name?) is listed twice, 9pm and 11pm, for my dates October 9th and 15th. Is that right?

If so, has anyone ever watched Wishes first, and THEN watched an 11pm Spectra-Magic? I figure it must be chaos with most of the people trying to leave the park, etc.

Then again, we'll be so tired by 11pm, we'll probably just do the 9pm anyway. Was curious to hear other comments about this though. Thx!

I've done it. We actually *just missed* Wishes. We had just had dinner at DTD and the bus took a long time. We could see them through the trees as we drove through the woods and we caught the grande finale on our walk from Contemporary to MK. There was a wall of people coming down Main St. It was wild. But, those of us that wanted to see the parade just found our spots on the curb.

We ended up right near a barrel, kinda gross, but we managed. We actually helped one of the janitors with the barrell. The poor man was just trying to do his job and people we mindlessly walking between him and his cart. Sometimes, people bug me.

Anyhoo, the parade was awesome! I'd definately do it again.

The big reason we did Spectro 2X was to make sure EVERYBODY got a chance to see the parade. Now that the crowds have died, we only do Spectro once on Tuesdays and Saturdays...and for the record ELP was an entirely different light parade than Spectro-Magic is.

"....we only do Spectro once..." .....so are you saying the October Calendar is incorrect then? They will only be at 9pm?

Also, what do you mean entirely different? The pictures look the same to me. Is the music different? Gee, I hope not.

They do the parade twice some nighs and the second showing is usually less crowded. They came out with a new parade a couple of years ago(?). It is good, although I like the Main Street Electricla parade better. I heard it moved to Disneyland.

A lot of people I've worked w/ say they like ELP better than Spectro. I've not checked the calendar for Oct. I only know what it's been like for the past month. Due to MNSSHP and those shows/parades the schedule may get crazy. I'll look into it more and get back to ya.
