Has anybody used the Magical Gatherings initiative to schedule a special "Grand Gathering". I've heard of a few bits about the possibilities but not nearly enough. We plan on going to WDW in April, 2005 with another family and there will be 9 of us total. We are always looking for a new and exciting WDW event!

I'm going to do a "gathering" next year, but I haven't quite gotten enough committment to make it "grand."

I can tell you a few things about an associate of mine that did it.

First - the messaging software is more complicated than it's worth. I suppose maybe by now (that was over a year ago) that they've improved it, but it doesn't seem like a layer of unnecessary stuff for planning a group trip.

Second - the CMs that are dedicated to help you are terrific.

Third - The "extra stuff" is cool, but it's exactly that - "extra." They don't give anything away, but there are some things about it that are unique.

When are you planning to go? We're trying to do an MNSSHP trip with what seems to be about 9 or 10 people for next October. Maybe you and I can keep notes as we begin planning?

We are actually planning to go this October (16 days to go), next April, 2005 and next September/October. We love MNSSHP by the way!!

The April trip is the one where we will have 9 of us. Let's definitely stay in touch and compare notes. After I get back from WDW in late October, I will begin planning the April trip.

We too are going next October with a group. Right now there are 8 of us for sure and maybe be 12. Cool!

We should all (as well as anyone else planning a group trip) use this as "home base" to report stuff, good, bad or otherwise.

Actually,if you all know your exact dates already,you should compare and see if you can make a "Super-sized" grand gathering!!!

I heard a rumor recently that Alma has a special high-compression machine in the back room that can sqeeze five extra pennies out of every dollar.
