Early closing and ride closures?

We're going to Disney in a couple of weeks, and I've heard a rumor that the parks are closing early in the evenings due to the hurricanes and that there may be ride closures. Is this true? Or is it a bunch of hooha? (My source is not really reliable so I thought I'd better ask here). If it's true, how early are they closing? What rides aren't open? Is there a web site where I can look it up?

It really has been quite a while since I posted here. I didn't think we were going to go back again before our passes expire, and I was sort of depressed about it because it'll be several more years before we can afford more. Now we're going for three days in a couple of weeks and I feel warm and fuzzy again

...at least until after our trip when I'll probably get depressed all over again

It will probably be closing early on the days of the Halloween party, as far as I can tell.. Have a great trip!

I'll try that. Avoiding all things Disney sure didn't help...maybe hanging around here will keep me going.

You bet it will! Sign yourself up for some postcards from pixies. I'l lbe happy to volunteer. Getting some random magic in the mail helps. Let me know. I try and get the biggest pixie list I can. Love to send the magic to people while I am at WDW.
