Weekend before Thanksgiving

I am sure this has been address here before but can anyone tell me if the weekend before Thanksgiving will be crowded at MK and MGM. I am thinking of arriving a few days before the rest of my family so DD and I can get some extra time in the parks. If everything goes as planned we will arrive Fri eve and stay 1 nite at ASMo. On Sat we will either take advantage of EMH at MGM then hop over to MK or start the day at MK. Any advice or suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
